Green can be an awkward colour to work with. While I continue to dither with my entry into finally producing some landscape paintings I have been practising green colour mixing while using it in Still Life set ups it in an attempt to create a dramatic effect. The irony for me has been that the weather has been so hot and sunny this summer that the English countryside has most of the time taken on an appearance of anything but English . . .
